Goji Retreats was born from my passion for facilitating retreats in beautiful locations that help people reconnect with their mind, body, and soul. The name is a tribute to my much loved dog, Goji, who often accompanies me on my retreats. For me, running retreats is where my heart is at and I hope you will join me on some of them.

Myself and endurance athlete and all-round outdoor enthusiast Hec Turner from MERA are back with our 2nd Soulful Strides Wellness Retreat at an exciting new location and we can't wait! Join us for a transformative retreat that blends the power of movement with the serenity of yoga. Whether you're an avid runner, a leisurely walker, or a yoga enthusiast, this retreat offers the perfect opportunity to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.
This retreat we will be hosting at the picturesque Mornacott estate, nestled on the fringes of Exmoor National Park, spanning over 744 acres of Devon's beautiful countryside. The estate offers a peaceful haven with breathtaking views, providing access to serene countryside walks, undulating valleys, and the gentle flow of the River Molland Yeo.
What to Expect
Think yoga, walking, running, sound bath, Qigong, delicious food, story telling around the fire, meditation, breathwork and guided journalling exercises.
This retreat is designed for all fitness levels, so whether you're looking to boost your endurance, deepen your yoga practice, or simply unwind, you'll leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and recharged.

Meet the Team
Violet Stopford, Leading the Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork and Co-Hosting
Violet is a multi styled trained teacher, trained in Hatha, Yin, AdvancedVinyasa and teaching children. Her classes offer variations for those wanting to go deeper or take a slightly lighter class. Whether it is a hot dynamic Vinyasa Flow or a deep Yin class, she loves to focus her classes around themes and a deep connection to the breath. She invites people to arrive on the mat, let go and surrender deep into their bodies.

Hec Turner, Leading the Running / Walking and Co-Hosting
Hec is an endurance athlete, mountain leader and all-round outdoor enthusiast. Over the years he has run across deserts, pedalled across oceans and climbed mountains and broken records along the way. More recently, he started a company calledMERA which designs bespoke adventure led corporate off sites, encouraging teams to break the mould of outdated team building.

SimonJ Lamb, Qi-Gong Teacher & Story Teller
Simon is a nature coach, exploring both human nature and the natural world. A symbiotic relationship which has become detached. He works with both individuals and groups, helping to (re)connect people to themselves, each other, and the world we borrow. He does this through a blend of movement (qigong), breathwork, mindfulness, and coaching. He has studied with Birkbeck University (coaching), Alan Dolan andOxygen Advantage (breathwork), the Long White Cloud Qigong (movement), and theBio Leadership Fellowship (nature connection).

MiaMacallister, Sound Healer
14 years ago Mia embarked on a journey that changed her life. She spent several years in India,Nepal and Bangladesh. Witnessing sound used in ceremony in temples and monasteries, sound was used to alter our state of consciousness. She wanted to share this with others, to create a sonic soundscape to support you in your inner journey using a selection of instruments and words. Shifting us in to a more receptive brain state where we dive deep in to our inner worlds.Nature’s resonance is the natural frequency of our planet of our environment~ Mia combines nature and sound to help us harmonise our whole body and mind.

Our aim is for you to leave feeling recharged, centered, and empowered, with a renewed sense of vitality and connection to both yourself and the world around you. This retreat is not about pushing limits—it's about finding your own rhythm, breathing deeply, and embracing the joy of movement in all its forms.
