Morning Sunlight Exposure

Morning sunlight offers a host of benefits for both body and mind. Exposure to natural light early in the day helps improving sleep quality and boosting energy levels. It stimulates serotonin production, which helps with your mood and focus, as well as supports the body’s natural vitamin D, important for bone health and immunity. Even a few minutes of gentle sunlight can help reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, and set a positive, grounded tone for the day ahead, making it a simple yet powerful wellness habit.

✨When you wake take yourself outside or simply look out of the window.
✨Pause, take it in, feel the warmth of the sun on your face and if it isn't sunny, that natural light will work too.
✨Close your eyes and begin to become aware of your breath, perhaps taking some nice long inhales and exhales.
✨Stay for between 3-10 minutes, depending on how much time you have.

This little wellness hack is vital for us during mid winter, it is slow, gently but deeply beneficial to us!
