The Perfect Autumnal Morning Routine

The Perfect Autumnal Morning Routine

A healthy morning routine is a simple way to start your day feeling calm, refreshed, and prepared and with this autumnal change of weather a morning routine is key.

These tips are here as guidlines, the goal isn’t to have a perfect routine, but to create small habits that help you feel good and set a positive tone for the rest of your day.

✨ Starting your morning slowly and calmly can set the tone for the rest of your day. Giving yourself time to wake up, breathe, and ease into your routine may help you feel more relaxed and less overwhelmed.

✨ Grab your journal, notebook, or even your phone if that’s all you have, and write down the first three words that come to mind. Don’t overthink it, just let the words flow. This simple exercise can help clear some of the thoughts from your mind, and you might find yourself wanting to explore one of those words further or discovering what you need for the day ahead.

✨ With it being a little colder in the mornings, start your day with a warm (fresh if you can) Ginger and Lemon tea. This will help support digestion and hydrates the body.

✨ Shake it, move it, whatever you want to do, but

✨ Move your body - whether that is stretching, shaking it out, some sun salutations or just a short walk to get your blood flowing, loosen up after sleep, and help you feel more awake and energised for the day.

✨ And finally, make yourself a delicious, warming breakfast, something nourishing to set you up for the day ahead. I used to skip breakfast sometimes, but now I’m much more conscious about making sure I start my day with a proper meal. It’s all about nourishing your body and giving yourself the energy you need for the day ahead....no more skipping meals!

A cosy and practical autumn morning routine that encourages slowing down, checking in with yourself, staying hydrated, moving your body, and nourishing yourself to create a calmer, more intentional start to the day, ENJOY! x
