The Beginning of the Year Journal Prompts

The beginning of the year doesn’t have to arrive with pressure, resolutions, or urgency. It can start slowly, like a deep breath. This is a time to listen, to notice what last year taught you, and to imagine who you’re becoming with kindness instead of force. By letting go of what no longer serves you, setting soft boundaries, and taking small, intentional steps, you create space for growth that feels steady and nourishing. Progress can be quiet. You’re allowed to ease into the year.

✨What did last year teach you about yourself and what do you want to do differently this year?
✨Which habits, relationships or beliefs no longer serve you and how can you gently let go?
✨What do you want your life to feel like this year?
✨What is one brave or uncomfortable step you are willing to take to grow?
✨Who do you want to become this year and what daily actions align with that version of me?
✨What does enough look like to you right now?
✨Write yourself a little note about how you want to feel my December 2026 and what a perfect December would look like to you.

Enjoy and as always allow the pen to freely flow on the paper, no one is reading this but you!
